On October 14th, Mark Oldman is going reveal all about fine Merlot as he hosts three Napa-based magicians of the grape: Duckhorn Vineyard’s Vice President GM Neil Bernardi, Markham Winemaker Kimberlee Nichols, and Rutherford Hill Winemaker Marisa Taylor.

This is going to be a fascinating, insider exploration of what to look for in the best Merlot. They will discuss the best places  for Merlot, as well as personal reflections on the grape’s ageability, peak food pairings, emerging trends, and personal stories with this glorious but often misunderstood grape.

Bring your own Merlot, or taste along with the wines that Mark and the winemakers will be drinking and discussing (though this is not a prerequisite). See below for the list of wines.
